About Me

I’m a self-taught artist living in a small village surrounded by green hills in South Wales. Life here moves at a peaceful pace, and I find endless inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds me. I share my days with my two Staffordshire Bull Terriers, whose loyalty, warmth, and character first inspired me to start drawing.

In 2021, I decided to teach myself to draw – simply because I wanted to capture the spirit of the animals I love so much. What began as a personal experiment quickly became a deep passion and a new direction in life. Through soft pastels, I discovered a way to express emotion, texture, and light in a way that feels personal and alive.

I believe that original art should be accessible to everyone, not just a select few. My goal is to make affordable, original pastel paintings that people across the UK can proudly hang in their homes. Alongside creating my own work, I also run art workshops to help others experience the joy of creativity, whether they’re complete beginners or simply looking to reconnect with their artistic side. I’m also available to run workshops at local venues, where I enjoy meeting new people and sharing the creative process in a relaxed, encouraging environment.

My artistic journey began in 2021, driven purely by curiosity and a love for animals. I specialise in soft pastel paintings, focusing mainly on animals and landscapes. The soft, blendable texture of pastels allows me to capture emotion, depth, and atmosphere — whether it’s the gentle light over a hillside or the expressive eyes of a beloved pet.
I’m proud to serve as a board member of Caerphilly Art Society, where I’ve had the opportunity to exhibit alongside many talented local artists. During our most recent exhibition, my painting “Stillness Within” received both the Members’ Choice and Visitors’ Choice awards — a moment that truly encouraged me to keep growing and sharing my work.
My artistic journey is still unfolding, and I continue to learn with every painting I create. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to slow down, notice beauty in the simple things, and perhaps even discover their own creative spark.
